The Visionary Veterans Campout interconnects like-minded creatives, utilizing nature immersion and holistic practices to revive the spirit. Veterans leave this experience with new coping mechanisms and a deeper connection to community.

The hostel is a beautiful venue on 133 acres of land. Guests get the unique experience of eco/lodging in a treehouse or screened cabin, and the ability to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. This venue has multiple outdoor showers and compost toilets and features a grey water system, organic garden, labyrinth, glass meditation house, hiking trail, private lake with floating dock, and canoes.

This is a pack it in, pack it out environment. Please carry out your trash with you. Leave no trace.
***This is a cell-phone-free atmosphere- please keep your cell phone in your car or treehouse and do not use it in the common areas as it is a distraction to those who are in deep meditation or processing.
****For the safety of our veterans, this is an alcohol-free event***

We are in the process of becoming a non-profit to raise funds for veterans to attend for free. Until then, we can offer a limited amount of scholarships and worktrade opportunities. We are currently looking for sponsors to help veterans gain access to this retreat. If you would like to become a sponsor or donate to enable a veteran to join please contact us here.
Price includes booking out the entire venue to make this a closed container for the veterans and goes to support the Hostel in the Forest, The Visionary Veteran retreat instructors and future veteran events.
**This price does not include airfare/travel to and from the hostel.
Lodging-
The retreat is co-ed and limited to 20-25 Veterans.
Veterans sleep in shared quarters in a screened treehouse or cabin, or spacious bunk room in the Hostel.
Males and females will have separate sleeping quarters.
Come with a battle buddy and stay in the same room! Let us know if you are traveling with other veterans, and if you have any food allergies.

This retreat includes-
- 3 days/3 nights lodging in a treehouse or cabin (Glamping) at the Hostel in the Forest.
- 2 healthy meals per day (Brunch and Dinner, plus snacks.)
- Use of hostel amenities. Swimming, hiking, canoeing, labyrinth, garden, glass meditation house, kitchen, and library.
- All Group activities, art supplies, and post retreat zoom group calls.

Navy Veteran, Ryan Bean
Currently is a RYT500 Yoga Instructor, Certified Wim
Hof Method Instructor, Breathwork Facilitator, Language of Breath Collective Founder, Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Guide, Meditation and Mindfulness Trainer, and Retreat Leader. Ryan is also the host of a mindful topics-based podcast; "Life As An Observer". Ryan received his yoga training at the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India. Ryan teaches many styles and modalities from the powerful flow of Budokon Yoga, to a gentle trauma-informed, and sensitive practice. Incorporating Meditation and Pranayama (breath work) into each practice. Ryan is passionate about being in nature and. using holistic approaches toward healing the mind, body, and soul. Ryan brings a unique style, incorporating traditional, spiritual practices, new breathwork techniques, and live music with playful and creative practice. Ryan's classes and workshops are a mixture of spiritual, playful, and safely guided to help you grow and evolve into the you, you know you can be.

Army Veteran, Crystal Palacio
In today’s fast paced world, we could ALL use a practice that allows us to slow down, tune in and embrace the gratitude of being. Crystal has been practicing Yoga for over 16 years, first embracing Yoga as a workout and has since evolved her practice into something that transcends the physical body. After 16 years of active Army service, Yoga has been a centering force to alleviate some of the chaos of balancing a career that resulted in working and living in 11 different countries and very recently transitioning into the civilian world. In 2018, Crystal completed her 200hr YTT with the Veteran Non-Profit VEToga, offering a mix of Hatha Raja Vinyasa Flow with Pranayama and Yoga Nidra inspired by the teachings of Sri Dharma Mittra. In addition to her 200hr YTT, Crystal also holds certifications in Y12SR (Yoga for 12 Step Recovery) and Prana Pump Yoga, and includes aspects of Kundalini Yoga and physical therapy movements into her practice. Crystal is passionate about service and sharing unconventional and integrative holistic healing modalities with others, especially with the veteran community.

Marine Veteran, Veronika Rose.
Veronika Rose is a visionary artist and Marine Corps Veteran from Orlando, Fl. She is passionate about two things, Art & Holistic health. After completing her enlistment in 2005, She began exploring alternative therapies to what the Veteran Administration Hospital provided. She began painting as an active meditation, therapy and spiritual practice and learning about energy, healing rituals and the mind, body, spirit connection.
She used her GI bill to begin Nursing in 2011, but quickly felt discouraged with the American "Sick Care" model and left her career to pursue art and explore herbalism, plant medicine ceremonies and natural ways of healing. She was invited to participate in sacred indigenous ceremonies, leading her to became a moon dancer, vision quester and tobacco pipe carrier for her community.
Veronika attended the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art & studied painting and various techniques to receive visions while in a creative flow state/meditation. Veronika also studied Visionary Art at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors with
Alex and Allyson Grey and Amanda Sage.
Certified by Being True to you, as an Addiction Recovery and Psycho-spiritual integration coach, and specializes in Psychedelic integration for veterans, Veronika now offers psychedelic integration through visionary art workshops.
